So, we've come full circle and it is time for everyone's favorite event Valenstag...and event where we can all kick back and watch as Syn and the Queen tag team unsuspecting people who are trying to rip us off (It was most amusing...) This year however, I had hoped to do things a little different...a calm and relaxing event...so here it is. And just to give everyone fair warning...I'm typing this while I'm half asleep after walking through the door from work...please bear with me. Oh yeah...Bill says hi to everyone ;-)

On Feb.9,2002 at noon, I would like to invite the populace of Uberheim to join me at Lady Eir's palace for Valenstag. The cost of the event is going to be $8/per person (that will cover day board and potty costs). Now we will get into the detail section of this public service announcement...

Date: Feb 2, 2002

Time: 12 pm

Location: Lady Eir's Palace (mundanely that's 341 Versa Pl in Sayville...up the road from the Islip Grange; if you need directions call me at 563-3834 before 9PM) Cost: $8/person ***this money is going towards the rental of the port-o-potty and day board**** ****the feast will be a pot luck dinner...bring enough for you and 2-4 others to eat****

Schedule: 12pm arrive and set up

1PM: Ranking Tourney Begins

1:30 PM: the day board will be place out and stay out until feasting time

2PM: The King and Queen of Love and Beauty Tourney begins (***my lords...this is the perfect time to make up for forgetting a birthday or anniversary...or not noticing a new hair style...repeat after me..."BROWNIE POINTS")

3:30PM: Tourney 4:30PM: Set up for the feast...

THE FEAST: The feast will be a pot luck dinner. In order to participate you must bring enough for you and 2-4 other people. I will trust everyone to not all bring deserts and soda...Please, if the household leaders can speak with their members and make sure that at least a few people are bringing a dinner course that would be very apprectiated.

7PM: Uber Jeopardy

8PM: Syn Appreciation...now let me explain this one. As I announced at the last event, I'm not feeling the love. So, I would like it if people would come up with songs, dances, poems, anything to show how much Syn is appreciated in you lives. I mean...without Syn, sex would be really boring...so let me feel the love ;-)

9PM: Closing Court

10PM: A very special couple asked me if they would be able to handfast at Valenstag...stick around to find out who... ***I have no need to remind anyone that these times are subject to change. This is just a rough schedule of things going on that day. Also, there is crash space available in the back yard...this means bring a tent...and please remember this is Feb. and will probably be cold... Oh, one more thing...and this is a house rule...THERE WILL BE NO DRINKING AND DRIVING...IF YOU ARE DRINKING, PLAN ON SPENDING THE NIGHT!!!!! So, that's the event in a nut shell. I hope everyone will come and enjoy themselves.

IMPORTANT NOTE: UBERHEIM MEMBERSHIP DUES OF $24 FOR THE YEAR 2002 MUST BE PAID AT VALENSTAG OR AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE EVENT; TITLES, SERVICE, AWARDS, AND OR STATIONS WILL BE SUSPENDED. THE DUES CAN BE GIVEN DIRECTLY TO BRAGI THE TREASURER, OR SYN; WHOM IS THE TREASURY WARD OF THE REALM. (Members will receive a membership patch from Bragi denoting your status as a paid member)
