The Beltane Greeting of King Siegfried

Greetings & salutations to the great and glorious populace of the Kingdom of Uberheim....

It was, six long, yet relatively short years ago, that upon this very field of Heckshire, the concepts which catalyzed this realm came to be. I was six years ago, nearly to the day, that I was coronated as King, thus giving life to an ideal, a Kingdom, and bringing to reality what we are all an integral part of.... Beltane is a time for past loyalties to be rekindled, and bonds reforged, as the passage of time erodes, even the most profound of our boasts & deeds. Beltane is also a time of rememberance, for our lost bretheren, whom have marched onward to Valhalla, to guard the hall, and keep our drinkhorns filled and on the ready. I, as eternal King of Uberheim, re-affirm my loyalty, to all within this fellowship, to lead this Kingdom into newer & greater aspirations, in the interests of increasing, all aspects of our existence. My goal is to see this proud family grow beyond our expectations, and from this growth: greater events, new friendships, enjoyment for all, and tighter bonds shall emerge. WE ARE, undoubtably, the finest and most unique Medieval themed subculture within many miles of where we stand, many miles. And some day in the future I hope to see us as the largest, which in all reality we are not far from now. This is our time, a time of rebirth, a time of glory, and a time of pride. Have also pride in yourselves, for sharing this dream ,and tasting the nectar of the Gods, as it belongs to you. Uberheim IS indeed, a "Slice of Valhalla on Earth". And It is my task, to ensure, that this Kingdom shall never pass on into oblivion, to ensure the dream will never fade, to ensure our deeds are never forgotten, & to ensure that the Spirit of Uberheim shall never be silenced. Untill the next Beltane I hereby reaffirm my position and my responsibilities to a place we all call our home..... Uberheim
