Yule 2000: Event Schedule

December 15-16

Just as a note: There will be a mundane X-mas party at Mugs Pub on Friday, December 15th, starting at 9pm hosted by DJ Jerry (Mime).

The Yule event will be taking place at Heckscher State Park on Picnic Field #4 On Saturday, December 16th 2000. Beginning at 12 Noon. (If you need directions to Heckscher State park, in East Islip, E-mail me)

Admission to the Park is FREE

We will be under a large gazebo which can easily house the entire Kingdom. There is several Bar-B-Q firepits available to have a bonfire if it is excessively cold.

The events of the day will be: (Guild/A&S activities are welcome and time will be allocated for you at will.

12:00PM Sharp!- Ranking Tourney as required

12:45PM- Uberheim Kickball/Dodgeball Equal teams chosen by 2 team leaders for a series of elimination bouts.

1:30PM- Uberheim Yule Field Battle- Equal teams chosen at random by dice roll for a 1 hour elimination campaign.

2:45PM- Norse Wrestling & Tug-o-War challenges.

4:30PM- Sunset! Breakdown and prepare to outlurk to Feast Hall.

~~~OUTLURK TO FEAST HALL~~~~

We have pre-reserved a private room the size of a standard hall, in a very classy Chinese Buffet in Islip named TANGS. The resteurant itself is in an authentic early 1800's chateau style building. It is very aesthetically pleasing and is completely closed off from mundanes & gawkers.. There are not even any windows from this room to the rest of the resteurant. We have this Feast hall reserved untill 10pm which makes 5 Hours!! plus we can easily get them to give us an extra hour if we wished. The food is excellent and of course is a buffet all-you-can eat, but it is a much higher class than Ming Yung + we have a Hall sized chamber to ourselves.

Cost for the Feast at Tangs will be: Approximately $18 per person which covers food, tip,drinks,tax & the feast hall or the 5 hours.

At the Feast Hall:

5PM Arrive & Feast!!

6:30PM Bragi will be running a Jeopardy game (Be afraid,be very afraid!) UG

7:30PM Odin's Slave Auction (Fund raiser for the 2001 Uberheim Runic Emblems) have your goods or services open for auction to the Realm to raise funds for a new aesthetic!.

8:00PM Grab Bag Gift Exchange (You must spend a minimum of $5 on a gift which you will wrap and place in the Grab-Bag)

9:00PM Royal High Court- Awards will be issued for deeds between (Sept 21st) & (Dec 21st). Anyone with business or gifts for the crown may offer such then.

10:00PM Outlurk or if we can get the extra hour we will decide on an activity.

11:00PM TANGS CLOSES!!!

If anyone has any activities and/or games beyond what is listed here you MUST contact me ASAP so that i may allocate time for them!.
