Please
be aware of the following changes. These changes were ordered by His
Majesty, Siegfried of Uberheim.
JUNE 15:
Fasolt's Farewell. Day at Vigard, night at Fafnir's. More details to
follow shortly!
JUNE 29: Kingdom
Birthday (formerly June 22). The day will be
a Kingdom lands lurk, the night site will be at Lady Frigga's mother's house.
More details to follow!
I.
The Islip Grange has been found to be
littered after fight practice. We
would like to make the Uberheim Corps of Engineers responsible for a one-time
clean up of the site, and then carefully monitor usage after that.
Groups or individuals who abuse the Grange should be denied access.
II.
Job Description for Ministry of Quartermaster:
A.
Maintain a current list of all Kingdom supplies
B.
Storage of said supplies in a safe & efficient manner
C.
Being available to sign in & out requisitions for Kingdom functions
D.
Maintaining clear & consistent records of all supplies requisitioned,
returned, and any changes in supply status or condition
E.
Receive requisitions for supplies for Kingdom functions
F.
Maintain pre-set amounts for consumables and requisitioning funds to
replace said consumables when necessary
G.
Quarterly report on all of Quartermaster activities, including archives
of supplies in & out for that Quarter, any supplies no longer in
quartermaster’s possession, any change in status or conditions of supplies
H.
Creation of standard requisition forms with signature in/out procedure
The
Ministry of the Quartermaster is a Kingdom appointment, therefore, all supplies
in the Supply Depot (“PX”) are property of the Kingdom of Uberheim for use
by its members as dictated by the rules of the Kingdom ad the Kingdom Senate.
The
Quartermaster is NOT responsible for the following:
A.
Determination of how Kingdom supplies are to be used, when they are to be
used, or what they are to be used for. These
decisions lie with the Uberheim Senate.
B.
Censure of any members who mistreat, misuse, or otherwise violate the
terms of borrowing Kingdom supplies. The
Minister must report any and all such mistreatment, violations or abuse to the
Uberheim Senate.
C.
Permanently removing any supplies from the PX without prior permission
from the Uberheim Senate
D.
Transporting Kingdom supplies (unless otherwise agreed upon)
III.
Court Guard Rules and Guidelines
A.
Royals, Knights and Ascended Gods may bear steel in court (live or
boffer)
B.
With the exception of the above, guards may only bear live or boffer
steel in court while they are actively guarding.
C.
With the exception of those listed in (A), all persons entering court
should be asked by the end guard for the permission to search their persons for
weapons. If the person in questions
refuses to allow the guard to touch them, the guard will ask the person to
remove any cloaks, jackets, capes, hats and any other extra item of clothing
that may conceal a weapon for visual inspections.
Should that request be denied as well, the end guard shall escort such
person to a point no less than 10 feet away from the royals in court, and the
front guard shall close in front of said person and will be responsible for
passing any items for presentation between said person and the royals.
D.
Should any populace member present any item to a royal, with the
exception of those listed in (A), it shall be inspected by a court guard or
deity or loyal mage for any damaging effects (i.e. poison, magic, etc) prior to
any royal receiving said item.
E.
Any populace member given prior permission to bear live or boffer steel
in court may do so unaccosted provided the action is not hostile to any royal,
guard, or member of said court. If
a guard is unaware of said permission, the guard must receive verification of
permission from a royal prior to the populace member being allowed to enter
court.
F.
With the exception of (E), all those seated in court are considered
royals for the purposes of these rules and guidelines.

New
Rule about CLEATS
1) All forms of
cleats are hereby banned from the norse wrestling ring. Due
to the difference of motion, cleats are NOT
banned from fighting nor from running.
2) Any member of
the Kingdom holding a peerage that does not attend an event at
least twice in any one year period forfeits that peerage. Any member who
requests a term of leave due to legal binding contract,
such as those enlisted, is granted their leave
and go into a retired status. All those in retired
status shall be granted their full titles upon their return should they
REMAIN A MEMBER in good standing.

New Legislation and Information from the Senate is to be shared in three ways
1. Household leaders are responsible for their households
2. Autocrats must set up a Troll Booth at all events. The autocrat must arrange to display the information at Troll.

The New Senate is here for you! If you would like to contact the Senate, or have a proposal you would like the Senate to discuss, you have two options:
1. Written documents may be given to any senator. We recommend clear and concise language. Please be aware the senator may refuse to take the document if they feel the timing is poor. (i.e., 3am at the bar is probably not a good choice!)
2. An email account is available! Email UberheimSenate@hotmail.com. Please be aware that no discussion of your petition will take place via email. Your requests will be answered with a receipt, and the Senate will get back to you after a decision has been made at a regularly scheduled Senate meeting.
New Legislation on Substance Abuse
1. Drinking. People must be responsible. People who can't handle it (Grand Ogglers) must be stopped & censured.
2. Punishments for Drinking Misconduct:
1st offence: Warn
2nd offence: Banned from consumption
3rd offence: 1 month suspension
4th offence: 6 month suspension
3. Narcotics are completely unacceptable!!!
Rumors and Oggles are to be handled by the people involved.
1. Confront the rumors personally
2. Follow oggle chain
3. No legislation is felt to be necessary at this time
Payment of dues:
Syn has the right to choose when and where she shall receive kingdom dues
Finally, at the Prince's command: There is no such thing as an emergency meeting! The Senate has regularly scheduled meetings, and the legislative process will always be followed.
